1 day down, 361 left to go...

Well today was less shitty than I had anticipated. I made it through the day, and still have a fair amount of energy left at the end of it. Today was mostly catching up at work and trying to get my email under control. Today was heartening because after a few weeks off to think I was getting depressed because I really want to take my photography to the next level and start making a living off of it and I was viewing my employer as something holding me back from it. Today made me realize that I can probably stick with it for another couple of years, and save up some money to make a break for it in photography.

I had dinner with an old friend of mine named Jim. I haven’t seen him in a while and it was good to catch up. We went to Azteca and caught up on things, talked about business ideas, and the tech economy. He’s taking the view of capitalizing on offshore outsourcing, and it worries me that he’s right. More to come on that later! Luckily he also thinks I have a talent for photography and gave me an idea that I might be using to make some money off of it. I’m still running some numbers on it, but there is a market out there and I just need to capitalize on it!
