A long week of rest

zoomed-tables.jpgThis week has been very relaxing and therapeutic for me. It started to snow on Sunday night and Randy and I got to drive back in the snow. We stopped and had a very good lunch at the Olive Garden in Yakima. I got home and started to do basically nothing all week.

Tuesday I sat around the house for most of the day, then in the evening I went to Fry’s with Mike. Mike and Cyn and I then had a wonderful dinner before a long nights sleep. Wednesday was much the same with a boring day around the house. In the evening I headed down to the W to shoot photographs of Ryan spinning there. I took the shot featured above there and am quite pleased with it.

On Thursday my friend Tali was going to come over and play classic RPG’s with me during the day, but ended up crashing in the ice on the way over. Luckily she is OK and her car is for the most part OK. Other than that nothing exciting happened on Thursday or Friday.

Having spent the better part of a week basically doing nothing I’m feeling much better than I was. It makes me sad that I have to go back to work on Monday, but I’m really happy that I’ve had a chance to recharge my batteries.
