Depression and Joy

Today has been a weird mix of emotions. I had a really good meeting at work - got to strut my technical stuff, and help get some solutions lined up for a fairly non-technical bunch. It makes me feel good to do that kind of work and really add value to someones life.

On the sad note I made a contract deal. Most recruiters would be overjoyed, but somehow I'm not. I'm not that pissed - it's a good deal, and both the company and the contractor are happy - what I'm unhappy about is the fact that our company is making a lot of money on it. Don't get me wrong - I think we deserve to make money for offering the service that we do, I just think that we make too much money, and more should be passed on to the contractor that does all the hard work. *sigh* Ohh well - at least this is more money to fund my photography habit!

Oh yeah - click here!
