Web development ramblings
The last couple of days have been very busy. Last night I was very late in getting home from work beacuse I had a slew of email to deal with. I spent some time working on the final version of my photography gallery on sparktography.com, but I'm still not completely happy with it. The main page is done and ready, but I need to find a way to better demonstrate what I have to offer in the gallery. One of the main problems that I'm having is trying to get a thumbnail to do justice to images that I've done. I'm considering using javascript to come up with somthing a little bit more interactive, with a preview pane for the images so that I can show a larger when people roll over an image. That does of course lead to page load time problems, but I'm willing to deal with that - a thumbnail can't give justice to a highly detailed image that really wants to be printed poster size.
