Bling to Apple!

So I got an ipod today. I’m sick of waiting for the ipod mini to come in at the apple store and not having any portable music player and storage drive has been bugging me. I went to Best Buy to get it so that if I change my mind I can exchange it for a mini later. It’s not that much bigger, and having the extra 11 gigs of storage will be nice. I feared that 4 gigs would be too little. It's a slick little player and I'm extremely impressed with the sound quality and the engineering that went into designing it.

I had a couple of caps from Pepsi bottles for free songs on iTunes so I tried out the iTunes store user experience. I have to say I’m impressed with the store but not with the purchase. It’s a slick little interface, but the AAC rights management system is a pain, and the two songs I downloaded had very poor sound quality compared to the MP3s I rip myself.
