Maximize your desktop

While browsing QuenteCafe I came across a great little application from Maxivista for adding a virtual VGA driver to windows using RDP technology. It effectively lets you put your laptop next to your desktop monitor and initiate an RDP session to a virtual monitor on the desktop. This adds a monitor to your desktop, and lets you drag windows into it, and smoothly move the mouse from one computer to the other. I’ve played around with it a little and like the concept. I didn’t have to fiddle with VGA cables or an extra monitor (it's all piped through the exsisting network) and VGA card to get a 3rd monitor onto my desktop. There is a free trial but it’s pretty limited. I might just end up buying this one once my condo closes and I’m not a broke mofo.
