Picture of the moment: Blue Table Patterns #1

Blue-table-series-1
Today was Randy’s birthday party so I headed out to Kirkland for dinner with some old friends. It was a merry old time and we celebrated 3 birthdays. It was good to see Randy – it’s been a while since I’ve seen him and it was nice to catch up. Randy got a very cool table at Ikea with a brushed metal top. I played with it in the sun for a while and got some very nice abstracts with it. The rich blues being reflected by the sky don't come across well in the JPEG, but I'm excited to get this one printed. This is the one I’m most happy with it. A couple of people that have seen it have not liked it because they think more should be in focus, but I like the softer feel to the image. Thoughts? Comments?

i think the depth of field is perfect. it's an excellent composition.

Yeah - I thought so too, but Ian thinks not. I say we track him down and lynch him! Err...
