Holy fastness!

So today has been a relaxed day around the house – a change from the normal lethargic drudgery at the office. I took the day off to get my DSL connection set up. I decided a couple of weeks ago to ditch Comcast and their crappy un-reliable service (and file a BBB complaint for good measure) and switch to something I could count on - Speakeasy.net. My new service got installed and I have to say I’m impressed as all hell with it so far. It’s 6m down and 768k up and the ping times are unreal. Even just browsing the web or checking email is almost twice as fast as it was with my old cable connection.
