Wasabi Bistro

So aside from some drinking with Brien and Scot at the cuff last night the weekend has been pretty low key. I've been doing a lot of design work on a few new web projects (not to mention a redesign of Sparktoblog) and working with photoshop quite a bit. I'm going to end up buying another copy for my mac at some point, but for now I had to re-install Windows on blinky so that I could use it.

This afternoon I went down to the federal building in downtown for the a photo-shoot for the new FTRS T-Shirts. I really like the design that Jake made, and his friend Jeffery was a fantastic model for them. The pictures came out great! Once the online store goes live hopefully the revenue from the T-shirt sales will help FTRS grow. After the photo-shoot and a few hours of retouching I went to dinner with Brien at Wasabi Bistro. I had never been there and was quite blown away by the food. The sushi rolls, although completely non-traditional, were amazing, rich, flavorful, and creative. The presentation was amazing, and the ambiance was perfect. I think I've found my new favorite sushi restaurant! Expense reports here I come!
